Is anyone watching the Orioles-Yankees game tonight?
Corbin Burnes’ stuff looks absolutely filthy right now. He made one mistake that Giancarlo Stanton hit over the wall, but otherwise the Yankees hitters the second time through the lineup are looking overmatched at the plate. He has 7 strikeouts through 3 innings.
Burnes’ last five starts he’s 3-2 with a 1.20 ERA. And tonight, he’s looking like the guy that won the Cy Young Award.
Judge leads off the next inning, and he’s crushing the ball again, with homers in four straight games. We’ll see how that second showdown looks.
