Costco but I hate their political leftist BS, but I like being able to return things anytime (with a few exceptions).
Costco. As an industry insider, Costco works at tighter margins. You're getting a better deal. Costco moves inventory at faster turns than Sams, so Costco is the appealing choice for manufacturers.
A little deeper insider info... Costco's Kirkland brand can't represent more than 20% of any specific category. Done for a bunch of reasons but it's the old "Brand vs private label equation should always be 80/20. Show Brand but offer savings". But that Kirkland "whatever" is being made by manufacturers you already buy from. Buy Kirkland. It's good. It's cheap. It's pure value.
Case in point. Kirkland Cabernet. It's $12.99. I know who's making it for them. It's $27.99 anywhere not named Costco....
Costco for reasons above plus they treat their employees much better.
Costco, mainly because they just built a store close to work. Closest Sam's to my job would be on the other side of the city.
Aldi. Wal Mart is close but sucks balls at everything. Costco is to far away.
Why isn't this a poll?
Costco, for all the reasons mentioned above.

Aldi...LOL
A friend of mine from Germany came to my wedding in '98 in Chicago. We were driving around and he said "Ahh!!! Aldi! Vee have zis in Chermany!"
My brother in law goes "it's pretty cheap. Mostly old people shop there. It's not too good."
My friend responds "Ja, it's not zat great in Chermany eizer..."
If Costco took their produce seriously instead of transporting it from distro center to stores in dry vans, they would see more traffic.
