Good game......nice win. Big 10 is now 1 - 3.
Maynard, thanks for being a ray of sunshine in this thread.
You must be lot of fun to watch games with.
Great season for UW and coach Chryst, congratulations,
At least one B1G team won its bowl game.
Our Badgers do the usual and represent Wisconsin well. Great win for a great team. Can't wait for next season to begin. But now, onto Badger Basketball and another NCAA appearance and a trip to the Final Four.
Nice way to close the season with a W against a pesky WMU team
Looking forward to next year. Much more favorable schedule and most of their guys returning.
Very good season, only looked bad in the 2nd half of the Penn State game. The other 2 losses were very competitive against 2 real good teams. Not many of us expected it either.
On Wisconsin!
Had to run to Lowes. Listened to the last 4 minutes on ESPN radio. On the Fumagalli 26 yard dagger on 3rd and 8 both ESPN announcers went full Paul Allen "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO". Both were really crushed. ESPN wanted a feel good underdog story. Didn't get one.
WM coach is high up on the punchable scale.
Just behind James Franklin.
I was wondering
Bradrick Shaw said he was banged up a week ago. Would not discuss injury, but said it wasn't serious. #badgers

And BB..
I see the Penn State QB threw up another Hail Mary type pass on the first play from scrimmage in the Rose Bowl. Intercepted. I guess the strategy of just throwing a high ball doesn't always work.
Only against Wisconsin and Green Bay.
This game could be a huge blowout......Penn State's QB looks like a deer in headlights now. Although Penn State's defense is looking pretty good.
PSU has looked turrible but IF they can settle down we have seen that they can come back
It was a surprising and fun Badger football season. The cupboard is not bare... they have a ton of returning talent. If Ramczyk and Watt return for another shot at it all, they may just get it.
Corey Clement has been a frustrating player. Built like a downhill power back, runs like a scat back, and doesn't have the vision of either. He should get a shot in the NFL, and maybe with the right coaching he'll blossom as an NFL player.
If Hornibrook can build up even a small semblance of arm strength, he has a shot to be really good. Another year under Chryst and off-season training and the Badgers QB position will be set. But recruiting WRs that can play/catch is a must. You give Hornibrook someone who can both get open and ctfb, they will compliment what looks like another dominant defense.
Love this program now- they'll be a challenger in the B1G and in the national scene for years to come!
Horni struggles with progressions, but does throw a very catchable ball. I think he is the leader today for starting QB, but in no way is that a lock for next year.

Sure is working now. PSU with an 8 point lead. Got to root for the BIGTEN.
Bart Houston gets a fine send-off. He had a tough career at UW. Up, down, 3 coaching staffs... loses his job his senior year... rights the ship and gets the team to the post-season, plays the best game of his career in the Cotton Bowl. His only incomplete pass was a dropped TD pass...
Good for him. We'll never know how good he could have been under Chryst the whole time.

One benefit of playing in the Cotton Bowl that should be very interesting to see if it pays off. They had a couple of practices open to the public. and reports were that between 40-50 different Texas high school coaches were there, and i imagine some possible players as well
They'll also need to re-stock their OLBs with Biegel and Watt headed for the NFL Draft.

Just earned him an NFL tryout. With his arm strength and athleticism, it's coming. Just you wait.
maybe as a tight end
I'd be surprised to see him picked that high
Corey Clement is the eighth ranked running back in the NFL Draft per @CBSSports. Projected third round pick. Just invited to NFL combine.

Rumor has it PJ Fleck may be named Head Football Coach at Minnesota as soon as this afternoon.
He already has the "getting beat by Wisconsin" job skill.
I thought Minny might make a hard push for Chip Kelley.
Sounds like an official announcement/press conference/introduction at 9:00 this morning.
5 year deal.....he will be gone before his contract expires.

Doesn't he need some type of surgery? Maybe he can slip all the way down to where the Packers will be drafting, #32.
