While President Joe Biden visited Kentucky to assess tornado damage, he met a Green Bay Packers fan — and he had a message for Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Biden was referring to last month's controversy over Rodgers' COVID-19 vaccination status. After Rodgers tested positive for the coronavirus, he revealed he had not received a shot.
Instead, he clarified that when he mentioned before the season that he was immunized, he was referring to a procedure he underwent that he said increased his antibodies. Rodgers said he did not receive a vaccine because he was allergic to an ingredient in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, and he was concerned about side effects from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Rodgers was not asked about Biden's comment during his Wednesday media availability.
