I only researched the innerwebs briefly, but couldn’t find the answer.

Could the game have ended in OT with the expiration of the game clock if the Packers still had their first OT possession and the game was still tied or they were down by 3? Or would the Packers have gotten to continue their first OT drive until there was a game ending or game tying score, or no score at all?

For those, like me, who couldn't watch the start of our game because of the OT of the Vikes and Bills game I started thinking. I will just go to channel 713 and watch it on my Ticket. I did and it was not on. SOOO I thought what about channel 701 where they have about 6 game choices in little boxes to choose from. There it was but no sound though with the Bills/Vikes underneath it w/sound. If you still missed this "trick" you didn't miss much and I was hoping most of you guys did miss it. Watson dropped about 3 or 4 passes from Rodgers and I was thinking wow what can I say about Watson now on X4? Can I show my face there again? After a couple of drops the TV showed him go up to Rodgers and hold his gloves up to Rodgers talking back and forth. I was trying to read lips but all I got out of it was " WD-40" but then again I might have imagined that J/K  . But they did indeed talk about his gloves. I don't know if he lost them or maybe got a new pair but he improved after that . Hell he could have had another TD or two if he had caught those instead of letting them slip through his hands. Wow . I swear that was my observation.

You needed to scroll over to that particular box and highlight it, then you would have had sound. I watched many starts to games that way. Fuck you networks and fuck DIRECTV. As I am in Raleigh, the local station also didn’t flip to the game in time…but, my trusty DofuSports app on my phone let me watch the entire game. It’s been great for Bucks games too.

If the clock runs out the game is over. You couldn't find the answer because nobody else would have thought to question that

There's no guaranteed possessions. If a team can somehow grind out a full 10-minute drive and kick a field goal as time expires, they win.

702 had sound. I went to 701 first and had same issue. They used to show the games on the Sunday ticket channel when local channel went to OT but now claim it is the NFL rules stopping them from doing it. The other issue is the local channel had bears game which finished and they switched to fucking vikings Bills

Now the Thursday night game is fucking Amazon so probably have to record nfl network at 11pm and watch on Friday

I have the ticket, the game was on 713 for me, silent til about the 10 minute mark of the first quarter.

Speaking of the ticket, I think this is the last year for it.  What is the roadmap for the future…streaming, a similar product to DTV, individual games for purchase?

It was free to me this year. They said I was the chosen one or something like that. I have had it from the beginning. I think it also said I had to sign up for it or something again next year though. We will see I guess.

This was last year for Direct tv…they’re pretty much toast as an old technology anyway. Word on the street is the Sunday Ticket will go the streaming route with Amazon the favorite. Would be great if they let you chose individual teams ala carte…but the NFL is gonna get the most $$$$ possible, so wouldn’t be shocked at a $500 annual fee.

I didn’t watch much O-line play yesterday.  How did the line hold up?  Jenkins and Bakhtiari hold up?

My opinion is they both were similar to how they have been the last few weeks.
Overall solid, but they have their moments when they struggle. Especially Jenkins.
Daktari had at least 1 holding penalty (maybe 2?) and Jenkins allowed a sack or two after getting beat badly.

There was a period during the game where Lawrence (Cowboys #90) was terrorizing the OL, but a steady dose of the rush eventually wore him/them down.
