The hubris of this guy is amazing. It just eats him to death that Jimmy Johnson gets all the credit for the success in the early '90s. He's going to bring the Lombardi back to Dallas, and he's going to do it his way, just to prove all the naysayers wrong.

 

Funny...he actually seemed to have gotten over his huge ego by hiring Parcells ten or so years ago, and what do you know, the Cowboys became a really good team pretty quickly. As soon as Parcells left, Jerry, rather than bringing in another competent football guy to run operations, said, "I got this". Results were not surprising.
