Mason Crosby had the yips a few years ago, but I don't remember him ever being quite as bad as Nick Folk was last night. Crosby was really struggling, enough that they brought in some competition for him, but it just didn't feel as hopeless for him as it did for Folk. Folk looked like he had never kicked in his life.
Trying to run a play from a spread formation after a 25 yard completion to midfield with :44 seconds left and the clock running when it’s first and 10 is staggeringly incompetent.
You get to the line and spike the ball and stop the clock. That’s the only option. Get the offense reset.
Trying to get a play off from spread when everyone is in full hectic go mode is asking for a number of things to go wrong. Like false starts on both tackles and Winston before the ball is snapped. 5 yards and a :10 second run off. Pretty much ballgame right there.
No idea if that was on Winston or Koetter. But it’s always painful to see teams **** up the most basic things you have to do in situations like that.

You could make an argument for Meathead Tice, it would just be a lousy one.
In 2014 the BB's started 2-2 and looked like horse****, Brady looked done. They finished by beating the Russ's in the bowl.

Brady really looks 40. He’s probably making the playoffs again because the AFC still stinks. But I think we’re watching the final days of Tom and Bill.
