If you are going to send Scooter down send Broxton with him.  He's a loser, always has been. 

Loshe pitched better than it will show, defense (Maldy and Aram) let him down.  Maldy did make up for it with one of the sickest throws to second you will ever see.  

 

Broxton was a Melvin mistake.  

Yeah, Broxton is cruising and gets two outs and then implodes.  Counsel needed to pull him out after those first two outs.  But his implosion was not his first time at doing this and it should be his last.  Get him out of Milwaukee. 

I can't think of any Brewers reliever in recent times that performed as poorly as Broxton.  The guy is flat out terrible.  Not to suggest he's THE reason why this team sucks but it doesn't help when you are giving up hits and runs just about every time you march him out there

Hmmm, Turn-blow (during an epic stretch of meltdowns), Axman (during an epic stretch of meltdowns) and who can forgot Hoffman at the start of year two, that cannot be beaten...

Eric Gagne was pretty freaking horrific for almost all of 2008.

 

Who can forget this lovely game? Or this one!  Or game 1 of the season!  Up 3 going to the bottom of the ninth, and the first 3 batters he faces as a Brewer go single, walk, HR to tie the game!

He was bad.  Wonder if he gave his PEDs to Broxton.  Amazing how both guys had career ERAs in the low 3 range and they show up in Milwaukee and boom!  There goes the neighborhood
