Peralta is exactly what is right and wrong with this team.

At times, he looks great and other times he looks flat out brutal. The inconsistencies are killing this team.

The reality is that Peralta probably could have used more experience in the minors.

So far, the all the positive energy related to Mike Fiers, Wily Peralta, and Mark Rogers coming into this year has been flushed down the drain. Their starting pitching overall is below average. Until they get that addressed I am expecting more of the same.
From the linked article, I don't understand this:

quote:
I always have a chance to talk to them that first day on the road, but we’re going home for a long homestand [so] it may be two and a half weeks or so until I can say something. Sometimes I don’t want to let it go that long.

Why does a manager need a "chance" to talk to his team? Call a meeting or tell everyone you want to talk to them! Whose permission does he need?
This years Mark Kotsay?

β€’To make room for Enright on the Triple-A Salt Lake roster, Bill Hall was released, tweeted Bees' radio broadcaster Steve Klauke. Hall produced a meager slash of .164/.282/.233 in 85 plate appearances for Salt Lake. Hall last saw MLB action in 2012 with the Orioles going two-for-nine with one home run in 14 plate appearances.
