Well, the pitching rich Cardinals seemed to have found another, in Shelby Miller.

He was simply amazing last night. 113 pitches and 87 were strikes. That's 77 percent, WOW!!!! Plus no walks and 8 k's and only 1 hit given up by a 22 year old throwing consistently 93-94.

Then they bring in another kid in Rosenthal, who threw 97-98 in the 8th.

Then, they have 'Little Pedro', Carlos Martinez just waiting to arive. Only throws upper 90's with a 12-6 yakker.

Then, they can go to Michael Wacha, who also throws 93-95.

Plus it's only time before their #1 prospect, OF-Oscar Taveras hits the show with his 5 tools.

Unlike the Brewer scouts, the Cards just know how to find Pitching prospects.

What would the Crew boards be saying if RR let a rook phenom toss 113 on April 12?

Although there is no denying the Dirty Birds success with developing pitching (especially with reclamation projects) but you do realize the Crew has three home grown arms in it's current rotation don't you?
