Brewers finally get a run in the 6th. Double by Yelich, infield single by Adames and a ground out by McCutchen gets a run in. Meawhile Woodruff has been lights out. 1 hit, 1 walk and 7 K thru 5 innings. Has retired 11 straight.

Now you know why you need to do the heavy lifting B K!!! So as soon as I post Bosox get a run with 2 outs but Woody gets out of the inning. Brewers get a run with 2 outs in the 7th on a triple by Taylor and a hit by Yelich. Woodruff struggles in the 7th but Boxberger comes in and gets 2 outs to end the inning. 2-1 Brewers top of the 8th.

I’m here for you, brother.
Into the 8th.
You are my cousin. Goalline is my brother. At any rate Williams lets 2 get on in the 8th but gets out of it with no further damage. Onto the 9th. Due up Urias, Caratini and Wong.
Call me Vinny.
Nice win. Love those insurance runs. Hader struggles a bit but strikes out the side.
Boxberger/Williams/Hader
Tschmack says y’all suck.
What a great game.
Gotta love how Hader makes things interesting
Christian Yelich talked a bit today about the toe tap experiment. "It's just something I decided to try out. It changes a lot of stuff. ... Different timing mechanism, I guess. I'm trying to get my body to work a little bit better than it has been. That's the simple answer." https://t.co/rpBMLRSmiE

That my friends is a cannon. I once saw a friend throw a softball, the kind used for fast pitch, from dead center to home and hit the plate. 260 feet.
Yippie, Go Brewers Go…….got em on my TV here in Minnesota!!!!

Way back, say 59 or 60 I was in the right field stands at county stadium, day game vs Pirates. The Hammer and Clemente mere feet from a wide eyed young guy from small town Wisconsin. Pretty neat and memorable.
Yelich has been much better in the leadoff spot. That was a rare bad recent at-bat for him (striking out on a ball in the dirt with guys on 2nd and 3rd and no one out).
Would be nice to be able to sit Hader today.
From my lips to God’s ear. Taylor with a blast.
9-4 final.
And keep it up Nats, Beating Cards 7-5 bottom of 7.
And Peralta may be back soon.
Cards lose. Brewers 4 games up now.
Worst 1st place team ever. They ain't going nowhere.
Crew showing some offense again today. Wong with a 1 out double and Renfroe with a bomb over the Green Monster. 2-0 top of 2 with only 1 out.
