Offense is back, at least for tonight. 9 runs so far with no homers.
TD & FG but they allowed a safety.....still have some work to do.

Wonder if the rain delay affected deGrom. I've never seen him like that ...he was all over the place. Whatever, it was great to see the crew offense come to life.

Good to see Woodruff step forward. Burnes will get a chance to work in AAA but he may be back to bullpen duty soon. When your slider lays flat you give up a lot of home runs. Bull pen eliminates to second time through lineup.
Welcome aboard Gio Gonzalez. Watched Wilkerson come in 7th inning one out bases loaded facing Mets 1b Alonzo. Pena calls 3 straight curve balls all way outside to get the count to 3-0! Who the hell is picking these pitches?! The normal .250 hitter becomes a .350 hitter at 3-0! Of course Wilkerson throws 4 straight fastballs striking Alonzo out. Pena either got real stupid or the new pitching coach is dictating dum but it has to STOP!
