That World Series from like 4 years ago, he almost singlehandedly won it for the Giants. He just totally dominated that series.
While another starter is always great, am I just nuts for thinking they'd be better served getting another bat over a SP?
Chacin has been really good after a bad start, I like Davies, but he more JAG, Anderson is solid, Nelson could be a 1A, but coming off injury I don't really have high hopes for him til next year, Jr. Guerra is really our only Cy Young candidate.
I'm not as big on Archer as I was this winter, but to be honest, I would love a serious upgrade to our rotation. Dropping Sogard eliminated one hole in our line up, I can live with weak bat at catcher. I don't mind Braun being hurt because Santana seems to do better with regular at bats. Question is, do you prefer the r/l platoon at first, or is Eric Thames expendable (I still prefer the platoon as long as we own Thames, but Jesus has been killing it). As bad as Arcia has been, I don't think he is as bad as his summer has started. If he can heat up though.... I might consider him as a centerpiece for a big arm.
I prefer arm to bat.
Definitely feels like living on borrowed time with the staff... would feel better with an arm like MB..
They need a guy who can come in and do what C C Sabathia did.

Nuts.
Arms.
It's about arms.
Figured I'd ask here.
What is the status of Jimmy Nelson?
Still not throwing off the mound, but progressing
