Hader was amazing, as were many other players. What a great win. Stole it. Good to see the bottom of the roster delivering big again. This is a very deep team. Add to that, Counsell is so steady. I love what he is doing with our team. To me, he's one of the most impressive Managers that the Brewers have had. Ever.
After all of this, we're just a half game out of first.
It is always nice to beat the Twinkies at their home. Half the fans there were Brewers fans, too, as you would expect.(read that Cub's fans). Temperature on the field was around 42*. Glad we don't have that problem at Miller Park. I think the Twink's grounds crews were still removing snow prior to the game.

I can't see the game. Why did they take Davies out after 87 pitches and a shutout in a game with a DH?
No idea, but the bullpen just gave up 5 runs.
Bad error by Hiura contributed, but Claudio and Junior left a couple hanging.
Claudio is painful to watch. And Counsell loves him.
He has a 5.57 era. Absolutely no business pitching in close games at this point.
Not one of the reporters in the post game asked Counsell why he pulled Davies early. Guy was sharp tonight. Then we have to watch Claudio throw his junk.
