this can't possibly end well.

I had to listen to the Cardinal broadcast last series because i was on the road.
Worst guys to listen to by far. Things I learned:
1) Gomez might end up a good player, if he could just cut his swing down and go for contact
2) Gomez might end up a good player if he ended his antics on the field and focused on baseball.
3) Gomez got so mad at a strike out once he tried to break his bat over his knee and ended up on the DL
4) (When talking about injuries) "Just wait until they get their spark plug Scooter Gennet back. They really miss his bat in the lineup."
5) at least 15 references to what a "warning track" is for.
Timesfour posters are announcers for the Cardinals? Who knew...
I'm actually going to the game tomorrow...don't know why...undecided if I will wear Brewer regalia or not...
Wear a Brewers shirt with a Packer hat.
that's it. Shirt and hat.
Elian Herrera cleared waivers; he chooses to remain in the #Brewers organization as team outrights him to AAA @skysox http://t.co/P5Q0GoHUb9

Big bats came alive tonight. Segura with a lead off homer, Lucroy leads off the 2nd with a homer and Lind homers with 2 on in the 3rd.
So Loshe gives them a 5 run inning in the 5th and it's now tied.
Loshe can sure hemorrhage runs
Lind on fire tonight. Trade him now!
Nice win tonight. Although it makes me wonder how the pitching staff can just lose their control so poorly and suddenly.
Great to see the Crew offense tear it up out there. Luc getting his first homer was all good but yeah, Lohse was down to his last strike in the fifth almost getting out of the inning unscathed. Then gets shelled for 5 runs on two outs. WTF.
Lohse is still struggling but the good news is Garza is up next!!
Gomez 2 for 2 with a walk but he's cost the club two runs with his base running. Garza bulldogs his way out of a bases loaded/no outs inning.
Another good win today against our nemesis across the River. The Twins were the first MLB I ever saw up at Metro Stadium in the late 60's. Saw Tony O and Caesar Tovar and Big Harmon and Rod Carew too. Now they got one of my all-time Crew faves, "The Ignitor"...Paul Molitor. I was so mad and disillusioned with the Brewers when they let him go. One of the biggest mistakes ever in Wisconsin sports history. Anyways, nice to get a good solid win.
Going today with 30 some members of my family. Usually we head to Miller Park every year, but with the Crew visiting on a weekend, we decided to go West.
My nephew has a place in downtown Minneapolis. Going there for a pre game tailgate, as you can't around Target field, another topic for another day...
Can't find video of Luc's barehanded strike 3 catch

There are a ton of bars down there so I suspect you could find a place that isn't super packed and with outdoor seating. Not tailgating but really is there any other place for that other than Milwaukee?

The 'ol Met was my first place to see the Crew against the likes of Bombo Rivera, John Castino and Roy Smalley.
Regarding Molitor, I have always thought they let him go more of a courtesy as that team was in that horrible stretch. Still made me sad but I felt good for Molly to win a championship and also finish his career in his hometown.
EDIT: I had forgotten about the run they made in 92 (his last year). I still think that the writing was on the wall that the club was heading for downturn with no money to spend and an out-of-date stadium. I suspect Molly knew that as well.
Does anybody remember if the club made him a good offer and he just got more from Toronto?
Milwaukee lowballed him, Pauly wanted to stay. Not the best moment in the franchise
