Congrats to the Pirates for the first non-losing season in 21 years.
And Yo pitched his 4th straight QS. He's been very good since his time on the DL

I agree....if you look at the talent on this team, you'd think we had a team that was at least a .500 team or better. I was discussing with my son the otehr day about what additions the Brewers would need to contend next season. I said we were set up the middle with Luc, Segura, Scooter and Gomez. With some of the youngsters stepping up you could almost let Aoki walk and put Davis in RF (He doesn't have the arm, but then again, neither does Aoki), and with Braun back in left I think we need a bon-e-fied 1st baseman (Is Hart that guy?) and we need an established #1 or #2 guy for the rotation. This team is not that far off IMO.....at least on paper it looks pretty good.
But your right Tschmack, this team has been out of sync all season...very disappointing...
It's been that way for two years. Pen put the club in a hole they couldn't get out of last season. Injuries/suspensions have also been a killer this year as well.
I think this team could contend next year if things fall into place. I suspect the pen will have to be rebuilt again and will be the storyline of the winter. I think they can get by with Yo/Lohse/Wily/Estrada/____________.
And in the spirit of cool baseball stats, saw this tweet today (ignore the MVP comment):
They got Wily some runs tonight, 7 to be exact. They only averaged 1.5 runs in his last 12 starts. Now can the curse of getting rid of Axeford strike again?
Not sure I've ever seen a guy "wonder where the ball is" like that on a HR to left center
