Close game but Webb is really becoming a pain in the ass
9.00 ERA really? Is it too late to send him back to New York

I'm willing to give him more than 2 innings before telling him to hit the bricks.
2nd and 3rd , nobody out.....and we don't score.
Is that even possible?
Shaw...3 run shot.
Should have been 4....ump at 2nd base called Santana out for the ball hitting him....except...it didn't.
Refs and umps suck.
Bats are coming alive.
Man is that a beautiful venue looking to the outfield.
Good start and more importantly Guerra is pitching well
Keep Tyler Webb the **** away from this game
Or not
So much for that. Guerra fell apart in the 6th. 2 run HR with 2 outs? Why not
Counsell WTF
Oliver Drake
Ugh
Is it just me, or could the Brewers use some middle relief help.
Counsell just not making the right moves at the moment but not sure he has enough to work with
Drake is a great example
Attack these guys. Issuing walks has killed this team.
Pirates with 3 runs with 2 outs
Starting pitching exacerbates the bullpen issue...
hope they got that **** out of their system
welp, we'll see what this team's made of. With the Cubs surging(and coming into town), will the sphincters tighten or do we stay aggressive
The free fall begins...
2 games isn't a free fall. The next 5 games are 2 more against the Pirates and then 3 against the Phillies. Win at least 3 of the next 5. If they go 1-4 in these next 5 then it's time to panic.

There's 162 of these things. I sincerely doubt the difference between going
3-2 = HOORAY! & 1-4 = GAME OVER!!
It's not even August yet.
66 games left....Start cheering or whining when football season starts
The division race has certainly tightened up and it's not just Chicago in the mix. Pittsburgh is well within striking distance and they have won 9 of their last 11 including series wins over Chicago and STL and the first 2 games against the Brewers.
66 games left but what's key is they play Chicago, STL, and Pittsburgh a total of 16 times in their final 25 games.
Not that I don't care if they win or lose against Philly or Washington but these head to head division games are critical and teams can either make up or lose ground in a hurry.
We will find out what this team is made of soon enough. Early returns aren't positive but all it takes is for a few breaks or injuries and a lot can change - as witnessed by our own team.
The Central is wide open. I never like to count the Cardinals out either. Those sneaky birds always are a thorn in the butt and somehow scrape together win streaks. But you have to think the Cubbies will end up in the playoffs again.
As we all know...it comes down to pitching. I am excited that the Brewers are still in the hunt. They key here is having a "stopper" pitch us out of the mini-slide now.
I am sure Counsel and the team knows there is a LONG WAY to go and didn't think they had the division wrapped up at All-Star break.
It'll be interesting to see what management does these next few weeks. Go BREWERS!
I vote we let some of the kids in the rotation. If they prosper great. If they learn great. If we don't win I disagree that we get better is most important.
Sunday Santana to right and deeeeeep.
Arcia flashing it tonight. However, I appreciate Thames' gun(s) on the errant throw. How about some Badger Mutual Insurance runs?!?!?
The free fall is on now...
How long have you followed baseball?
Jesus.
Blew the save, but got it to the 10th afterward. That was big.
Nothing easy right now
just get the damn win

Been watching this f-ing team for 40 years... seen the movie a few times, chief.
Fair enough.
Me too.
Don't harsh my buzz. It's been a fun 4 months.
Got blooped to death tonite.
Win one tomorrow.
Still in 1st....haters.
Two flares and an error decide this. Bad luck hitting this club. I trust their reliance. I expect doom and gloom and to be judged by master of judgement of X4 but get the last game and I bet they surprise in the capital.
Just frustrating... it makes me really happy when they're proving people wrong. Then they start proving people right. And the Cubs... I hate the fu*king Cubs...
I don't mind the cubs, its cub fans I can't stand
Unlike the cardinals, nothing redeeming whatsoever about that franchise
Was a nice first half, but have to come to grips with reality. And reality is there is a nice base here but should be looking to move older players looking towards 2019 and sticking long term plan.
The runs and clutch hitting have completely disappeared with this team. Coming into last nights game they were something like 4 for 25 since the AS break with runners in scoring position.
Tough to win games when you aren't scoring runs.
Broxton and Thames are really hurting the offense right now. I trust CC to make the right call, but wouldnt mind seeing Brinson or Phillips get some regular AB's.
Knebel only had one pitch last night. Not going to save many games if he cant get his curveball working. Walking Freese was a killer....and then came the bloops.
Down 4-2 now. Pirates seem to be a lot more focused right now. Brewers still can't seem to get their offense figured out. Good times!
I can't contain my excitement right now over this team. Man this sucks!! Let's recapture the mojo it's too soon to switch gears to the Packers.
