The pitch Utley hit for a dinger had less movement than most Tee balls.

Not liking the baserunning gaffes lately. Reminding me of last year.
3 runs in 4 games ain't gonna cut it.
standings tightening up. 4 teams now entering the mix
Yep, the JULY GOODBYE (Copyright 2014 Maynard X4) is fully upon us. Ugh.
Wang dominated tonight.
The Slam in the first was bad. They were over confident.
No one really thought it was going to be wire to wire, did they?
A deadline deal has to be coming. They're getting listless. Wait until Lee is off the DL- gets a few starts, then he's a Brewer. Add Lee to this rotation and you've got something that can win in October...
It's one thing to lose 2 of 3 to team like Cincy on the road but losing 2 straight at home to a terrible Phillies team is inexcusable
Definitely due for a bad streak. Never ever thought this would be a cakewalk in this division.
Cardinals Molina with a Thumb injury.... @JLucroy20 would get the start of Molina can't go in the MLB All Star Game

You know you're in a slump when Fausto Carmona shuts the Crew down.
What the heck is going on with GoGo and Braun and communication?!?!?!
GoGo!!!
And another bullpen fail. THis team is toast.
RR's managerial book says Will Smith in this spot, so let's leave him in to get pounded. No outs, 3 hits, 2 walks, 5 runs (2 belong to Garza). About to get swept by the frickin' Phillies.
For a team that seemed to be catching all the breaks so far this season getting pay back big time in this series. Maybe they are getting them out of their system...
for ****s sake, enough of this streak.
Take the Cards to the woodshed this weekend.
Man, this streak needs to end. Now. Get the AS break with a couple wins and then regroup.
At least Wang got some work.
I'm tired of playing with a 24 man roster. Maybe if you had an extra usable player, this 1-9 stretch would be a 3-7 slump instead. Maybe an extra arm in the bullpen would have prevented them from having to overuse Will Smith, Zach Duke, and Kinzler. Each of those three is on pace to approach or exceed 80 appearances.
I just looked this up. Wang is the worst rated player in baseball via ESPN Fantasy Ratings.

For relief pitchers, he's ranked 393 out of 393. The three guys immediately ahead of him are all on the DL.
They have to make a move and release Wang
He's eating up a roster spot and they could use another arm in the pen and that sure as hell aint him
This is not fun.
Losers of 9 of 10, #Brewers making moves. Nelson called up to start Saturday. Estrada bumped to bullpen. Wang on DL with right shoulder.

Getting Nelson called up is a start
Is Jim Henderson or Tyler Thornburg going to pitch again this year? Need them back too
I wonder how the rules work for Wang in terms of verifying his "injury". I'm glad they are finally making a move, but keeping him this long has probably cost them a game or two (his WAR is -0.9 at this point and that doesn't figure in the added wear on the other members of the bullpen).
Wang had to be kept on the active 25 man roster for 90 days in order for the Crew to keep him. Now they can DL him.
