a nice national stage before the AS break

The way Junior Guerra has been pitching lately, I am not hopeful the Crew continues their win streak. That said, they have been just dominant this whole week, it's been very impressive and sort of makes you wonder if maybe this team is for real after all.
Julio Teheran from the Braves is someone I would be interested in, probably cheaper too
Given uncertainty of Anderson injury and Guerra's inconsistency they really could use a couple of starters. I trust in Stearns as he seems to know what he's doing but regardless it's fun to even be in this position to discuss the scenarios.
1st and 2nd...nobody out in top of 2nd....and don't score.
Hope they don't regret it later.
Guerra sucking again
4 errors in 1st 4 frames,
oy.
I keep expecting Villar to pull his head out of his ass and start contributing, but it ain't happening.
It looks like he is slowly asphyxiating his career.
Hurry back, Sogard
I'm no Judge of talant....but.
Dude is something.
.....and Mike Trout is the same age.....that means Judge is only about 150 home runs behind him.
i hope that the Brewers stretching out Hadar is an indication that they are looking for him to be a starter after the trade deadline.
[cough ... Garza]
GS by Aguilar! full count 2 outs tie game! dude has 7 RBI tonight
that certainly helps the 5 errors on the board
We called them "Grannies" when we were kids.
As in, "Johnny Briggs hit a Grannie!"
Goddamit I'm old.
On another note.
Yankee Stadium is always so embarrassing with those $1,000 empty seats behind home plate.
Do the seats have a credit card slot for magic fingers or is it included as part of the package.
Is it just me or is this Brewer team effing fun as **** to watch.
Guerra just hasn't been right since his last few spring training outings and the injury certainly didn't help. He's really struggling with his location and can't seem to throw enough strikes. Thankfully the offense has bailed him out but something has to give with the guy.
Aguilar with a huge night and the bats continue to carry the team. I can't recall a Brewers team with 6 guys hitting .290 or better with this type of balance and pop and it certainly makes Braun somewhat expendable.
Fun game keep it rolling
What Hader did was special.
once the starting pitching improved and started to get deeper into games, thebullpen improved too. Whodathunkit

8-3 since he got off the DL*
*same for Villar

Really liking Hader.
The rain delay was extremely helpful last night.
Think they might add Hader to the rotation? Seems to have really good stuff and can help them.
This is getting exciting.
3-0 already.
On FIRE!!
I hope it keeps up into September
Suter with a solid outing today. Finish them!
Braun with more calf tightness... frustrating.
Knebel has been brilliant but man that was a horrific 9th
You walk guys and bad things happen
And Knebel implodes... uhhhhg...
He hasn't been walking guys but two guys on with 1 out was a recipe for disaster. With his stuff you have to attack guys and usually he does but not today.
Good news is Suter pitched well. Braun hurt yet again? What else is new.
Who looked worse? Knebel today or Lonzo Ball in his summer league debut?
I'll go with "ROY" dad proclaimed Ball
I would like to remind everyone I spotted Knebel as a 'Plug' early this season. Of course I was rong then but when he misses he gets hit just like anyone else. They need him to get righted fast!
Suter looking very Barry Zitoesque.
GoD damn it. ...{sigh}
Give up 3 in the 9th?!?!?
2 walks and a 3 run bomb
just awful
win tomorrow and it's all good

This kid can't even hit 90 MPH on the gun. Incredible job so far. Let's hope he has more left just like this for another 3-4 months. Junior needs to find where he was a year ago in the second half and we could be off to the races.
Finally, Garza untouchable? That just sounds wrung.
Off to another fast start. 3 run bomb by Shaw and a solo shot by Vogt.
Also the Pirates hang a 10 spot, yes that's right 10 on the Scrubbies in the 1st inning.
Hoping for the best from the bull pen the last two innings.....prepared for the worst....
Knebel - 26 pitches so far
10 strikes - not a good sign
Knebel made it interesting, but ultimately got the job done.
