You made the right call. Both games were excruciatingly bad to watch. The Cowboys were forced to start a 4th string center tonight. Tony Romo is lucky he did not get hurt.
This game was a classic, Heck Oakland punter punt 3 times on the same drive; somehow Dallas gave Oakland 3 first down on 3 different 4th and longs. I do not know how they did it I was not watching it very closely because the game was so bad. The drive end with a missed FG.
A scintillating matchup ending at 3-0.

Fans seriously need to band together & boycott 1 pre-season game in each stadium. Money is the only thing the owners seem to understand.
I didn't watch a second of it. What less do you expect me to do?

For the more serious question, I recall around 2000 the Packers winning a regular season game against the Eagles 6-3, with Longwell hitting a FG at the gun. Is 3-0 that much worse?
3-0 is much worse in the preseason. Got no problem with FG wins in a regular season game - usually means I'm seeing some good shutdown defense, which I like. now if it's because of offensive ineptitude, well, that's a good day to head for the woods and some fall colors.

First time it was 4th and about 4, then dallas ran into the kicker, giving them a 1st down.
The second time it was 4th and about 4 again, then dallas was offsides giving them another first down. I think the third punt actually counted, and was downed at about 3 inches from the goal line, although the raider who downed it almost let the ball roll into the endzone. It was horrible to watch.
Thanks for the memories, I forgot about how the Oakland players surrounded the ball at about the 5 yard line and still let it dribble into the end zone. I hope that drive is on YouTube it is a classic.
