When the news is released, feel free to blame MM and TT here.

Where's the guy who hears things from trainers?
Pictured: DaTone's ankle at moment of impact
After the Bulaga thing I've resigned myself to the line of thinking, injuries just don't matter anymore.
Was it the end of the world when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor!??!
Rob Demovsky @RobDemovsky 3m #Packers practice at 11:20 am CT today. It's closed to the public. Media allowed in but no live tweeting. Will have updates afterward. Expand
I guess we should know more this afternoon.
Bryan Bulaga
Derek Sherrod
Nick Perry
All three previous first rounders have suffered season-ending injuries at some point in their short careers. Why not a fourth?
After the 2014 draft, TT is immediately going to transfer his first round pick to the PUP list and save some time.
I suspect he's a goner. If he wasn't, you'd think someone would have spoken out by now. Heck, WW, just put our R1 guy on IR right after the draft. Or, trade our R1 guy every year.
It's likely his ankle has already been removed.
I predict next year's 1st round pick trips and falls on the way up to the podium and is paralyzed form the forehead down.
I know, let's trade all of the first round picks for the next 10 years, problem solved.
The Packers need to start using a different branding iron.
His ankle is being amputated. And with nothing to hold his foot to his leg, he'll have to lose that too. Career over.

Great point, Boris. In hindsight, it's just a shame that Hitler's Zero was not shot down at Pearl Harbor. Yes, we winged Goerhing's plane, but he was able to ditch near one of the carriers and be recovered. Himmler, as I recall took off from the carrier but then turned back and landed. Chicken! Of course, we did shoot down and capture Rudolph Hess, who was wearing kilts at the time, but he turned out to be a raving lunatic.
By the way, in case I hadn't announced it, my new job is as a history teacher! So just call on me for any points of clarification!

Just for balance and to avoid injury, they took both. Here's a picture of Datone this morning speaking animatedly with Mike Neal.

Datone Jones didn't practice but indications are that his ankle injury isn't serious. McCarthy will update shortly
MM: "Datone will miss a couple days". Not sure if he will play this week.
Doesn't sound serious. Just maybe the world won't end .
His knee, however, has fallen off...

or most likely hes fatally injured but MM is just trying to deceive the Rams in a pivotal game this weekend

LMAO!!!!
That looks like a recipe for a wrist injury.
Can't teach that kind of pad level.

He's Baghdad Bobbing us! I know it!
Datone is his name and the boyz call him....STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON
LMAO. I swear, nobody has a sense of humor like people from Wisconsin!
Good stuff!
I heard TT is scouting this guy for next year's draft...
Here's the guy TT hopes is available with his 2014 first-round pick.
He's cross-trained so he must be more durable, right?
Is that Glass Jaw Joe??
Is that Glass Jaw Joe??
Glass Joe.
Now this is a great thread!

Frank Lentini. He had two sets of nads to go with three legs and even another "rudimentary" foot growing from his 3rd knee. Add that all up and it's 4 feet, 4 balls, and 16 toes.
FG kicker right?
Collective sigh of relief. A couple of days doesn't sound too bad. Probably won't play this week, but that's ok as long as he can play the next game.
Frank and Beans.
I just checked over on the McFarlane site and series 31 is featuring Datone Jones with a limited edition Pepper Burress "game land" playset. Here's the preview pic.
