The thing Thompson knows that few other GMs seem to know:

There wasn't any magic to dealing with all the injuries -- just a matter of finding guys who could suit up and go on Sunday without pooping themselves.
Not sure if this happened to anyone else, but the link provided sent me to the comments from the readers. Here's a different link:

Hey, YaYa - What's your take on McCarthy at this point? Is he still a moron? By posting this I'm wondering if you agree with the brilliance of the game plan on offense.
That article answered a big question of mine: Why did the Steelers abandon the run? According to the article, we played a lot of 4 DL, 4 LB and the Steelers didn't want to rush into that front.

I also liked the synopsis that with the defense we played it forced Ben to be very accurate in order to beat us. We all know how that worked out.

Nice job Dom.

It was a little frustrating watching CMIII as a traditional LB rather than as a pass rusher, but guess what? It worked!!!

And TT gets right back to work. One of these guys might be the next Tramon Williams.

I'd like to see what Chastin West does with a year under his belt. I think the book is still out on Brett Swain moving up in the reciever rotation.
