Don't forget Mark Roman.
Well, currently Ferguson is to busy preparing his HOF induction speech to be bothered with worrying if he would waive the *no trade clause* he had installed in his latest record setting contract. Thomas... just waiting for the Packers to resign Korey Hall. Gonna package him with Bush, we may have to throw in a conditional 7th kicker.
You're just saying that because he's black.
Oooh!
Exhibit A of how not to treat your franchise sack leader.
http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/...ests-decision-future
Jones treats his franchise like fantasy football.
I hope he stays alive for another 100 years
There is a down side to JJ living for a 100 years. It would get so that every time he sneezed he would be in the news. Think it is bad now? Just wait.
On football decisions, if the rest of the NFL would followJJs and the Vikings example, they would rename the SB the GB open.
Your move, Ted! (Pure fantasy, of course. I'd be amazed if he spent the $$.)
Only Reggie White (137.0) posted more sacks in his first 9 NFL seasons than DeMarcus Ware, who has 117.0 in 9 seasons with the Cowboys.
How much interest has DeMarcus Ware received? Six playoff teams have called. He’d like to move quickly if possible.
Bet Ware ends up in SF.
The concern I have with both guys is that their production has totally fallen off a cliff. I mean, it's practically Raji-eske. Don't know why exactly but it's a risk
Is it possible that Ware's productivity drop off the last year or so has something to do with being tired of being on an 8-8 team year in, year out?
I just don't think Ware is even close to the player he used to be, that's all.
Can he help? Sure. But his production and impact has gotten progressively worse the last couple of years. This isn't Ware from 5 years ago.
Bakhtiari held him to one assist in Dallas.
I don't want him on the GBP but I think a change of scenery will be beneficial to him.
I hope they pay him a ton
I think having Ware with CM3 opposite him, would do wonders for Ware's production
Ed Werder @Edwerderespn 5m
DeMarcus Ware cut because of $12M salary, $16M cap charge. One team tells me Ware convinced he can get at least $10M as UFA
Well that rules out GB, though they were probably never even in it anyway
Sorry leg humpers....no way ROTTT was going to pay a 30 something

Horsey-face going wild. This is crazy.
Would serve them right if Peyton went down for the season in week one.

DeMarcus Ware's Denver deal will pay him $13M this year - $250,000 more than he was scheduled to make from Cowboys, who released him Tues.

They're laying it all right down on the table. Considering that they're going to have Manning for maybe two more seasons (tops), it's really not an awful idea. They're going to have to rebuild when he retires, anyway.

How the hell can they afford all of these players? I hope it all backfires. It will.
IIRC Peyton's contract extends thru 2016, same as Ware's pending deal.
So, even if the Bronco's best laid plans go south in a hand basket, cap hell still has a hard expiration date.
Ward, Ware, Talib. Cap Space is thinning out fast but the Broncos are ALL IN!!!!
Worth mentioning... pending Bronco free agents:
Dominique Rodgers Cromartie
Trindon Holliday
Knowshon Moreno
Eric Decker
Steve Vallos
Dan Koppen
Robert Ayers
Shaun Phillips
Wesley Woodyard
Mike Adams
Winston Justice
Champ Bailey and Zane Beadles are both already gone.
That's a lot of 2013 starters and back-ups that likely won't be back in 2014 leaving Denver incredibly thin talent wise and even worse if they hit a rash of injuries.
This is part of the "all in" theory that often get's overlooked.

Well, it's not like that organization has ever cheated on the cap. NOOOO!
Sorry leg humpers....
I guess if you are going "All In" Denver is doing it the right way. After the last Super Bowl I do wonder if Manning can go a full season anymore. As one approach 40 it is not about still being able to do it, it is the recovery time.
Denver's backup QB is Brock Osweiler. I've not heard of him but he is a former second round pick. The fact he's 6'7 and 240 pounds makes him a potentially interesting prospect. But you'd think if they are going to invest all this money in old defensive players, it might be nice to have a veteran QB who can at least give you a chance if Manning has to miss 3-4 games. Maybe Osweiler is that guy, but who knows?
