He signed his big 2012 contract on the basis of 2 games. 2010 NE and 2011 Detroit. Now he's put up a big, come back win going into another free agency. Where's he going? Cleveland?

Houston? J-ville>? Minnesota?

Despite a good  outing  today, I don't think he will command a lot of interest honestly. The NFL (well most of these teams) has figured out Flynn is at times a decent system QB at GB.

But even at that, it was a tale of 2 halves. His passes still take way too long to get to the WR, he doesn't see the field well (our TE has been open constantly in several games now), and he he has nowhere near the arm that Tolzien does.

You can't "teach" arm. Either you have one or you don't. Now granted give him Randall Cobb and a high end draft pick at TE, I think Flynn is serviceable here. But the fools gold that he was at Seattle is already out of the bag. I cannot see an NFL team falling for that again

Nobody is going to pay Flynn to be their starter.  That didn't work out already....and rightfully so because Flynn isn't good enough to be a starting quarterback in the NFL.

If Flynn is smart, and I think he is, he will take a modest contract from GB and be the Doug Pedersen for Aaron Rodgers.  I believe he is the perfect backup in GB.  He gets along well with the staff and players, he knows the system, he can perform at a decent level when called upon and he has a comfort level with the organization.

what you all said already.  he's Zeke, he's Pederson and that's what he's good at.  but a regular 16 game starter?  nah...

but THANKS for making the cowgirls cry, especially Bryant the petulant child, Mr. Matt Flynn.  I'd buy you a Christmas present for that victory but you've already rec'd a golden goose.

He will be a career journeyman.  Maybe a backup for a year or two, then will float from team to team as a #2 or #3 as injuries decimate a team.  Never will be a starter, unless injury thrusts him into the spotlight during a season.

He'd be smart to take whatever GB gives him... IF they offer him anything.

The problem with Flynn is not arm strength, it is that he is slow to decide/commit to a throw, that is why his throws are behind the WR. They are late, not weak.

I remember when a Jason Garrett lead Cowboy team knocked off the Packers years back in Texas... that loss pissed me off.  It took a long time, but revenge of having our backup quarterback knock off the same team is sweet, sweet payback.

I'm calling BS on Garrett being surprised. That was the pinnacle of his playing career and he knows people remember it - much has been written about it and he gets asked about every year around Thanksgiving.

Flynn fits in the GB system and that's about it. If he couldn't make it in Buffalo or with Oakland, he's not going to be offered a chance to start. If Flynn is smart, he will willingly sign with GB as a backup if offered the chance. Then, TT and MM put their heads together  and determine if Tolzien is worth a No. 3 spot. If not, draft a QB to groom. Done.
