He did bench Osweiler in the regular season, but the replacement got injured.

Congratulations to the Falcons. Yesterday's playoff win was the 8th postseason victory in the franchises 51 year history. Putting them one victory behind Mike McCarthy.
So glad Atlanta won yesterday.
Funny Stat ChilliJon .

He could be, yet. Give the kid time. In 20 years you'll all be complaining about how he pontificates too much on the pundit shows.
He's like a leper version of Alex Smith . . . if he develops. His mechanics stink. His instincts stink. That was just bad football. It was hard to figure out which one of the 3 plays the Texans offense was going to run. Guh, not fun to watch.
I wonder how much say Bill O'Brien had on the Osweiler deal? A halfway decent QB gets to work with DeAndre Hopkins coupled with that defense? I have never seen such a lopsided team before.
ChilliJon posted:Russ Wilson is not good. He's just not. But Schneider has to be held accountable for that OL. It's terrible. 13 points against that D is stunning.
I just read an article that gave the money spent by the Seahawks on offensive line (who are 32nd in the league) as well as the team ranked 31st and I don't remember the numbers, but even their difference was substantial.
Pete believes his team is right in the middle of the title winning window.
Your best days being in the rear view mirror are always hard to come to grips with Pete.
By the way. Regarding Seattles OL. Here is a snapshot of how badly Seattle played things.
Take a look at Minny. Proving that spending a crap ton of money ain't the answer either.

They would've been smarter to sign a big name RB with that defense. Man that was a world class dumb**** signing.
Lamar MIller has been a pretty good signing for them.

Supposedly, O'Brien never even met Osweiler before they signed him.

Tony Romo and JJ Watt coming back would make that team scary good next year.
Will Romo still be under contract for the Cryboys next season? If so, it might take a high draft pick to pluck him from Jerrah.
I [catts] will be pulling for KC now since they were once The Dallas Texans.
Pittsburgh moving easily in first drive
Chefs moved easily in their first drive, too.
Le'veon Bell is ridiculous. Defenses just can't figure out how to counter is "delayed hole" running.
I'm at a Chiefs bar in Vegas off the strip.
Chefs fans getting pissed
Kelce with a big drop followed by an usportsmanlike penalty two plays later.
KC killing themselves in the foot.
PIT's the HOT team. They're keeping it close but are missing opportunities.
I think Pit has the better chance to beat the Pats at their house.
Is Smith got some hitch in his mechanics? Just doesn't look right, Osweiler like.
One thing the Chefs have not been today when needed: clutch. Dropped balls all over the field.

Agreed. I hate to root for PIT I hate the Pats even more.
I don't think either one of these FG kicking teams is beating the Pats.

Kelce is a meat-heat, pure and simple.
So GB vs. PIT Part 2 in Houston this time. I don't have a second favorite team, but Pittsburgh is probably as close as it gets for me. Tomlin, like McCarthy, is a guy who wins consistently and still catches a lot of ****.
I think you kick and play it straight if you're KC. Shame they wasted a TO on that 4th down play. If you stop them, you should get it back with like 1:20? Which is plenty of time for AR, but maybe 1/2 of what you need for Alex Smith
If they can stop Pitt, they should get good FP.
Did a KC player just blow chunks thru his facemask?
Gotta sell out on the run if you're KC.
Perfect time for the play action pass if your'e Pitt.
I'd guess Tomlin throws, 1st down, game over. Almost anyone else I'd guess run stop, punt.
Or, just you know, just drop into shotgun and don't even pretend to run.
Ballgame.

Seen* that.
**** Boswell for stealing Mason's THUNDA!
You know...
that holding call could have been called 5 times or more against Clay tonight.
Sorry KC.
Hard to win a playoff game without scoring a TD.
Impressive performance by the Pitt D, especially considering KC scored early.
Toad.
Yup.
F refs.
F Goodell.
