Did Don Rickles zing you? Insult comic, and actor in movies like Kelly's Heroes dies at 90.

Poor Don Rickles was born a generation before being obnoxious, profane and insulting could make you president of the United States. RIP

Rickles, Winters, two of my all time greats/favorites.
He never insulted me - and let's keep it that way.
Seriously - RIP Don.
Don Rickles just asked me "who picks your clothes - Stevie Wonder?"

Fake tweet. We all know the real one is Jesus H. Christ.
Back in the 70's, my dad and I would watch the Johnny Carson Show every night before going to bed. We would always look forward to Rickles either as a guest or being the guest host. Doc Severinson's intro song for Rickles was spot on.
The Matador Music: Ever wondered why Don Rickles prefers to take the stage to Spanish matador music? Well, in Rickles' own words, he likes to be introduced by the song, "La Virgen de la Macarena," because, "I always pictured myself facing the audience as the matador. " This was a subtle signal that someone was about to be metaphorically gored.
I think Severinson and Carson called him the "Merchant of Venom", too.
