This is a true story.

I was on the East side of Houston, parking my Packer pete into a parking spot. When I noticed a big green looking rag or something, rolling around in the parking lot. when went over to pick it up I notice it was Donald drivers jersey, my first thought was somebody had just throwed the jersey on the ground, because it was dirty. but till later when I turn the jersry right side out, too my surpise this is what I found.donald driver

My version of events of how the jersey ended up in the parking lot.

It was given to a Viking fan as a cruel prank. Viking fan wanted to throw it out but couldn't. Owning something that represented winning was new. Different. Intoxicating. So Viking fan held onto it until he was fired from his job at Best Buy and got evicted last summer. You can only fit so many belongings into a few hefty bags.

How crazy is that??!!!
What an incredible find, Bandit!

Would the area you found it in offer any clues to the source? Was it at/near your work or shopping center/mall, etc? Any kind of sports memorabilia stores around? Was it near housing or apartments?

Wonder if it 'washed'  there from the recent flooding?

Wow! Great find. All I ever see here in Minny are purple rags after their losses. Nothing I would ever pick up.

Parking lot of a truck stop? I vote for a trucker who was "entertaining" a "lady" in very high heels and very short shorts. When the cop swept the lot, the "lady" leaped out the door on the other side and the trucker put the truck in gear and took off. He saved himself the john ticket but paid dearly by losing the jersey.

That is freaking crazy. Does DD still reside in Houston?

What a find!

yes he does

He doesn't live in Houston. It's well known by the locals that he lives in Flower Mound, the same city I live in. It's just north of Dallas. His home is off of Grapevine Lake. My father saw him at the Home Depot about a week ago.

Driver bleeds green, but Flower Mound is home

Veteran Green Bay receiver Donald Driver confirms that when he moved his family to Flower Mound four years ago, he had his home built in Packers-green stucco.

But that facet of Driver's Super Bowl homecoming isn't as, well, dreamlike, as the rest. He says the color choice was coincidental.

"I don't know if I picked it because of the Packers," he said with a smile. "It just kind of matched up. I liked the color."
