If I'm not mistaken, that's an old Dunn & Reath car, probably from the early 1980's. Big Jim Dunn is still racing today (as a team owner).

Hell Yea!! love me some Drag racing!! Big Jim is still racing......Jim Campbell is doing the driving.... 7-11 Car. I prefer old school though...the Funny car bodies, as well as the Pro Stock cars these days look nothing like the real cars...Im heading down to see Don Garlits museum soon...went there many years ago..time to see whats new...
And, I am going to the World Series of Drag racing held at Cordova raceway in a few weeks...
ps..thats a 1972 Satellite body..so probably early-mid 70's?
How is RuPaul doing?
Since I've totally jacked this thread....
Dunn/Campbell have done done relatively well this year, especially when compared to years past. I love it when the 'little guys' have some success against the big-budget teams!
I follow Big Daddy on Facebook and love what he has been doing at the museum. I'd love to do one of the private tours there.

My favorite class is/was Pro Stock. But, I enjoyed the Sox & Martin, Dick Landy, Dyno Don, Bob Glidden and The Grump days of Pro Stock. Pro Stocks today are nothing like a stock car and are very expensive to run. Due to that the class is dying out. The NHRA cant even fill the class of 16 cars each week. Also, it used to be Dodge, Plymouth, Chevy, Ford, Pontiacs etc etc...Today 99% of the cars are Camaros against 1-2 Dodges. NHRA put a 10,500 RPM limit on the cars so the Mopars cant breath with those big Hemis, hence advantage Chevy. Anyway, that being said, I still watch...cant help it.

Good for you, Goldie! We're on the list for a model 3. Don't have enough solar access for pv to make it worth it but we do buy clean electric.
People are saying coal is making a comeback!
Clean burning coal?
Fusion is just around the corner.
How did it take 3 days for that picture to appear? Slackers.
