Stave may end up being the man in the end but I am hoping one or two of the younger guys can show enough to take over as WIs starting QB.

Yep they would have to sit for a year if they transfer all except Braxton Miller. Miller has graduated (probably in basket weaving) and he can transfer to a school without sitting out if he can find a Masters program that OSU doesn't offer and the other school does. I think this is how Russell Wilson did it.  I unfortunately live in Ohio and all the rumors are that Cardale Jones may in fact go to the NFL.  Not sure what OSU will do with 3 QB's that are that good you cant play a 3 QB system or can you?

If I were Cardale Jones and wasn't guaranteed so start next year, I'd go to the NFL. He's already 22 years old, married with a kid. He might as well get drafted and work with NFL coaches year round rather than go back and sit for another year. The thing is, he'll be better off being drafted in the 3rd or 4th round and being a backup for 2-3 years to learn how to read NFL defenses and work on the nuances of playing QB. He'd be a perfect fit for a team like Green Bay or New England.

His problem will be someone that desperately needs a QB will draft him, he'll have to play too early, and he'll struggle. In the NFL he won't be able to run over DL like he can in college and his WRs won't be superior athletes relative to the DBs.

He reminds me of Steve McNair. McNair didn't start full time until his 3rd year and was successful.

Agree with other posters on Mariotta. He did not look like a top NFL prospect last night. He looked like a Manziel/Tebow system QB. He really struggled on anything other than throws up the seam. He doesn't have the arm strength to be a top NFL QB. He reminded me of Bridgewater.
