Dylan is just one of those names of the kids you see running around the airport or grocery store. Like

Hunter
Decklin
Jackson
Jaden

I think its more related to the parents who pick the name and their influence on the child.

My apologies to anyone who has named their child or is named as such. Of course it doesn't apply to all. ;-)

Dylan Favre arrested on drug possession charge (updated 2:35 p.m.)

PEARL RIVER COUNTY -- The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department arrested 20-year-old Dylan Dewayne Favre at 12:43 a.m. today on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, said Chief Deputy Shane Tucker.

Tucker said the arrest occurred after a traffic stop at the corner of Mississippi 11 and West North Street in Poplarville. An officer smelled marijuana from the vehicle, and deputies found marijuana and paraphernalia-type items, he said.

Authorities would not comment to how much marijuana was discovered. Favre also was ticketed for not having a tag light.

Tucker said Favre currently remains in custody and that it’s likely that a judge will set bond Friday.

Favre is the nephew of the NFL’s career passing leader Brett Favre. He transferred to Pearl River Community College from Mississippi State University in December.

Pearl River Community College? Damn. I guess selling really is the more appealing option.

Great minds think alike. I had to check the skin tone.

Yeah, you're not a parent raising little ones. It's Jaxson. Jax for short. Pronounced JACKS like a moron.

And Dylan as a first name rocks. Why? Because of this guy:

I saw Dylan Favre play last season at MS State. He is about 5-11, and got into the game late and scored two TDs. He got the ball out quickly and on target. Granted, those TDs were in garbage time - but he looked good. Probably transfered because he had trouble getting into games and/or was told he wouldn't start.

Or maybe drug use was influencing study habits.
Hey, what's wrong with Dylan? Cool first name IMO. It's not like they named the kid "Blair"!

I stumbled across a tv show called "Swamp People" awhile back. Still wondering why it was on The History Channel But, they do things a little different down south.
