That's a great call CAPackfan,
Rodgers will have some role on Sunday and Wallace will be damn glad he does

Wallace just looks so slow & his arm looks dead. I don't care if Vince himself comes back with Tom Landry as his OC & Chuck Noll as his DC.

Is Foles going to throw 8 TD's vs. the Packers D?

P.S. If he does I hope all 8 go to DeSean Jackson so I can crush my fantasy opponent at least

IIRC Rodgers called the plays for Flynn in 1 half of the DET 2011 final and not the 2010 NEP game. Regardless, I too expect AR will be very  involved in the games he misses.

Watching Taco throw Monday night was...weird. Maybe like watching him on a dial-up connection?

You could see the play develop and the routes the receivers were on, and kept waiting for the pass...and kept waiting...then finally, here it comes. But it was like the spiral was so slow, you could read the writing on the ball as it rotated!

To be as fair as possible, I recall a couple of short/mid-range passes he threw very well; they were acurate and had some velocity. But I really worry about the oppostion's DBs sitting on routes and breaking on those slow passes. They sure look ripe for the picking.

I wonder how much Lane Taylor (back up guard) is practicing.  If Lang is out, it seems that unless Taylor really sucks, maybe leaving Barclay at tackle is the better move.  It seems that moving Barclay to guard weakens two position.  But what do I know, I didn't think Rodgers broke is clavicle.

Considering how in 2010 (NE game) he was recovering from a concussion, it was probably wise not to have him calling the plays.

From the JSO injury report:

"McCarthy went with RT Don Barclay in place of Lang and Marshall Newhouse at right tackle after Lang went out in the Bears game. In practice, he worked both Barclay and OG Lane Taylor in Lang's place and will probably make a decision based on all three's performances this week if Lang can't play."

@WesHod

injuries: Lang DNP, Matthews LIM, Neal LIM, Mulumba LIM, Pickett LIM. Rodgers DNP

@WesHod

MM: Clay Matthews looks like he's getting more comfortable with the club. Club style has to do with injury, ability to keep it from moving

@WesHod

MM: I hope Clay is very effective with the cast. He's a dynamic player. Would be nice to get him back on the field

@WesHod

MM: It's about running an offense. This man (Wallace) knows how to play QB. Just getting lined up and we'll take same approach next week

WesHod

MM: It's about time of possession. Do you want to do that running 50 plays or do that at a successful rate at 75.

@WesHod

MM: I really wanted to see Seneca operate the offense today. It'll be important for him to run that but need to get Scott involved.

@WesHod

MM: The game really dictates that (on how much Starks, Franklin play), but we'll see

@WesHod

MM: James Starks just runs for touchdowns. I really like the way Eddie is running the football. I like the way James is coming in there

@WesHod

MM: Derek Sherrod is a bigger, stronger man today than the day he was injured. He needs to play. It's a tough time (based on upcoming schedule)

@WesHod

MM: Mike Neal is just a little beat up. Just being smart with him. I think he'll be fine

@WesHod

MM: Mulumba and Pickett did the jog through and unit drill

The one that stood out for me I believe was a rollout to the right and he zipped it into Quarless' gut near the sideline. There was a Bear in the picture, and I remember being stunned he got the ball there so quickly and past the defender.

Getting him on the move will be the key, and trust in shorter routes with more YAC.

Translation: If Wallace is as brutal as he was Monday night, I will have Tolzien ready to come in.

MM learns from his mistakes. He will have Tolzien ready if Wallace is hurt or can't perform.

I have a hunch that AR's return hinges on how well Wallace plays. AR's injury would not limit his effectiveness, the only risk is that he could cleanly break, rather than fracture his bone. This is not an injury that would effect his career. It is not like a knee or Right upper body injury. The danger of playing is risking a break which would put him out for the rest of the season....however if it is obvious that the playoffs are a slim possibility by the time he heals, would it be worth the risk to play him with the knowledge that you are not putting his career at risk?

I read in an article last night where the reporter said not to be fooled by the DNP designation that AR will be getting for the next few days....he will be ruled out.

More awesome gamesmanship by MM.

WTMJ showed some footage of practice yesterday where AR was in sweats taking phantom snaps and then taking 2-3 step drops like he had the ball. In doing so, he raised that left hand right about elbow level and then pretended to throw the ball with his right. He looked antsy.

I have a feeling these "3 weeks" are going to make him nuts. Just from that small tape of practice it looked like he couldn't wait to get back to business.

@WesHod

Yesterday, Datone Jones said Clay Matthews looked like @MegaMan with club on his right hand. Finally saw it today. Couldn't be more right

No need to thank me.

If the Eagles believe this they are in for a shock when they see CMIII on the field.

BTW, Seneca has (had?) a really strong arm and good mobility. You guys will be shocked by what you see this week when he has been properly prepared for a game.

That's all? WTF Packers? Get his ass out there.

This is the perfect trap game... for the Eagles. 4-1 on the road. QB played lights out last week. Packers very short handed. Philly probably thinks they already have this in the bag.

Shanahan would have him on the field.

Agree with yah!  But, where was that pass rush during the Bears' game.  Very frustrating to watch!

Well, over the past few weeks, most of the rush has been from the interior of the line. Loss of Clay and Perry really has killed the outside rush. Caught up with them vs an improved Bears OL
