It's almost criminal that the Pats get to play in the NFCE. They have no competition for that division, and haven't since...since....I can't remember when.

TB/ATL is much how I expect our game tonight to go, by and large.

One team out of the Falcons, Seahawks, and Panthers are going to lose out on a wildcard seed. Or the Rams if they falter and allow Seattle to take the lead for their division.

Saints/Rams will be a big game for playoff positioning. I think it may be better for NO to win, so they stay the closest to the Vikes. The Vikes own the h2h advantage over both these teams,  and NO would have the best chance to overcome this disadvantage. The Rams would have no chance to overcome 3 games with only the 5 remaining.

The Patriots have won the AFC East for all but two of Tom Brady's seasons as starter. First was in 2002 (Brady's second year starting) and again in 2008 when Brady tore an ACL in week one. What a joke of a division. The NFC West was terrible when the 49ers dominated it in the 80s and early 90s, but they at least had some competition from some good LA Rams teams over that span. It's been a cakewalk for NE over Tom Brady's entire career in that trash division.
