Hell no. Goff was a salary dump in exchange for a draft pick. They may as well tank and get their QB in 2022. They could draft one or get in on the Watson/Wilson frenzy.

I had thought the Texans were the shoe-in for the #1 pick, blocking Detroit from their preferred QB pick and maybe leaving Goff as a bridge for at least part of the season, but in the tiny sample so far the Texans look better than the Lions.

The Texans got to play the Jaguars who are right up there in the mix for the potential worst team in the league. Lions, Texans, Jags, Jets, Falcons, Panthers, Eagles, Broncos, and Bengals will all be competing for that title. The Jags and Bengals already have their QBs of the future. The other 7 are looking for theirs.

It will be different as a Packer fan this year keeping track of the race to the bottom since it's very possible that one of those top picks might be coming to Green Bay in a potential Rodgers trade.
