That's all well and good regarding the O but don't forget this kid is running the whole show.  Takes more than a great offensive mind to do that.  It's the only area I have reservations about Stinky.  It's that  ability we know the least about.

I think he keeps Philbin around as an asst HC or some type of special consultant to help navigate the HC role.

Pettine has about as much HC experience as Philberti.  I guess I don't see the reasoning for the offensive philosophy in keeping him around.  If it's purely a security blanket thing I think they'd be making the same mistake they made in not shit canning McVince when they got rid of Uncle Ted.  LeFleur's call I guess.  

Philbin has nearly 30 years in the league. He could be of benefit.

So does Norv Turner and look how that's turned out.  Beware of The Norvening.

We discussed it earlier in January. Get rid of all remnants of the old offensive regime. 

Don't know what Philbardi adds that LaFleur would need.

Campen staying on as OL coach and "running game coordinator" or whatever you want to give him title of would be fine with me. He's made some pretty good chicken salad out of mid round picks like Linsley, Taylor, JC Tretter, and of course all-pros in Bakh and Sitton. 

That's pretty damn impressive.

It would be great to get 2 talented OL in this upcoming draft.

One thing I keep hearing is how bad the Titans offense was this year.  Now no one will confuse them with Air Coryell but their offensive talent was umm not great and Mariota was out for a good chunk of the year.  

I for one am thrilled the Packers didn't interview or take a hard look at Kingsbury.  The dude was average as hell in college and the Cardinals hand him the keys to their team?  HIs offenses were decent in scoring and averaged being ranked around 20.  Defense?  his team's never had a defense that was ranked in scoring defense higher than around #80.

Who will the vikings take to replace the old one eye? The suckqueens took a big step backwards this past season and Zimmy's job could be on the line if he doesn't turn it around. Spielman will give him up if it saves his job dusting the empty trophy case. I nominate Zook.

I bet those two sail on as long as the high picks from when they constantly dwelt in the cellar will carry them.  So not long. 

I mean a 38-7 ass kicking has a lot of cache in Minnesota.

Campen studied/learned a lot from Philbin when Joe was OL coach under Sherman.

I get the thought of flushing the O staff, but Philbin may have a place.

In all fairness Suede was a worse failure than Philben as a head coach at the end of his head coaching, going 1-10 in his last 11 games.   Philben was better than that.

But that is the way of the Norsemen.  If they did't produce immediately, they got rid of them or killed them.  That is why there are so few of them around.
