I also think City will contend. I like their defense better than you do. Zabaleta is really good. They don't have Chelsea's depth at the back. United isn't special on defense either.

Just may DVR a couple matches to get some pre-football football watching in.

Good game by Spurs, but Bentaleb was really bad and set up the goal for United.

 

Wish I had recorded the Swansea Chelsea match.

And, West Ham shock Arsenal despite the fact they featured a 16 year old in his first game.

United got luck with the own goal...though as close as he was, Rooney prob woulda parked it.

 

Liverpool, not only losing, but getting humiliated 6-1....not sure B-Rog can survive many more of those...they seriously miss Stevie G and 'Heem Sterling.

 

EPL is wide, wide, wide open this year. If City gets De Bruyne...their MF D will be better...not sure they have much on the back line outside of Kompany.

 

Also, hot rumor United is trying to pilfer Harry Kane from Spurs...that would be a tragedy.

I'm used to seeing teams like United steal our top players, but Kane was born and Bred in North London as a Spurs fan.I think he sticks around.

MCFC looked decent vs. WBA...but that's like the Packers looking good against the Jags...not getting hopes up yet too much. Even if they add De Bruyne, it doesn't help their defense. They need Delph back pronto...when he was healthy, and they played Real in the ICC, they gave Real all they wanted...the minute he went out, Real opened up whoopass on them.
