I know many of you don't care for power rankings but I thought this was kind of funny about Eddie.
2015 record: 10-6
Post-free agency ranking: No. 6
Key additions: DT Kenny Clark, OT Jason Spriggs. Key losses: Eddie Lacy's gut. Last year's Packers won 10 games without Jordy Nelson and more or less without Lacy. There are worse bets than Aaron Rodgers turning it around in 2016.

It is a fair point. They went 10-6 without their top receiver, their top RB going through a slump, injuries to all 5 starting linemen that either affected them or kept them out, and a variety of injuries to receiver depth at various times. There was a lot going against the offense, which had one of the worst years since Rodgers took over, and they still pulled out 10 wins and a playoff win. Barring major injuries again there's no reason this team shouldn't be in the top 3 of the league with the rookie additions and all the players healing and returning.
Young guys on D should be getting better as well. It's not out of the question to see improvement on both sides of the ball.
The secondary in particular- 12-15 dropped ints last year. Capitalize on those this year...
All those dropped ints last year were driving me crazy.
WAY too many in that AZ playoff game.
Secondary's primary job is to stop a WR from catching the ball. Catching it themselves is house money.
GB did well in 2015. Top 10 last year in INTs. In fact. 2013 is the only year since 2006 that GB didn't finish top 10 in INTs. Joe Whitt can effing coach.
GB was 5th last year in completion % against last year. 58.8%. You hold opponents below 60% in the completion percentage era you're getting things done. Not holding onto picks is not a problem.
Great defenses convert opportunities to turn the ball over to the offense. Games change on a dime with turnovers.
And when 12 is on your sideline, and you miss an opportunity to hand him the ball as often as this team did last year, you're mediocre.

That is such a grand pile of bull****.
The D forced 22 turnovers. The Offense handed it back 16 times. And we haven't even touched on the offense converting 34% of 3rd downs on offense. 27th best in the NFL last year!!!
The defense did their part. The offense did not. The defense has to improve run defense. The offense has to improve everything. Fewer injuries would help. Better scheme is a very close second

If the point you are making is that this D is not a great one, no argument there. If you are blaming the dropped INTs for the lack of greatness? You've got to be kidding me. There is so much else wrong with this D.
