If this squad doesn't finish in the final 4, the manager should be sacked. Also, I'd start Stones over Smalling.

Finally, an English team with talent.
'66.
...I became a goalkeeper 3 years later.
I'm really old.
....and US was jobbed on the PK call.
I've seen worse jobbings...the Guzan penalty on throwing the ball out of the box vs Jamaica that led to a FK goal.
Geoff Cameron is the best CB we have...Brooks is the most athletic, but Cameron should have known better on that set piece. His fukking fault we were down 1-0 in the first place.
Bradley played like utter $hit...which is not surprising given the level of competition. But still...this match was a sobering taste of where we really sit in the scope of world soccer.
Now if they get their head out of their asses, they may be able to beat CR and Paraguay...but I am not counting on it.

I wasn't even born then.
Shut up Foo. Bradley played just fine...oops, he just gave the ball away again.
Everyone talking up the Frogs in this one...I am saying don't sleep on Belgium or Spain.
Just looked at Belgium's roster...FFS! If there is any team that should finish top 4 or fire their manager, it's them!
GK - Courtois, Mignolet
D - Alderweireld, Denayer, Vermaelen, Vertonghen
MF - De Bruyne, Dembele, Fellaini, Hazard, Carrasco, Nainggolan, Witsel
F - Benteke, Merterns, Origi and FUKKIN LUKAKU!!
How many of these teams could the USMNT beat?
Belgium has no fullbacks. They play two centerbacks as fullbacks.
Payet's goal was crazy. WOW!
LOL, Englad dominate Russia and still choke at the the end.
Pretty much...luckily for them they are in the weakest group. Beat Wales and that leaves Slovakia to dispatch, and they win their group.

He's one of my top 10 EPL players...if he played for Arse, ManUre or City he'd get WAY more credos. I'd rather have him than Paul Pogba at MCFC.
Pogba is younger. Otherwise, yeah.
It must be nice to score an insurance goal in stoppage time instead of conceding an equalizer.
Congrats, Herr Fedya on your magnificent victory.

I had nothing to do with it.
And you should be thrilled Boateng saved the game for them.
He looks like a much better player than his days as a bust at Citeh. Also playing CB now. That makes sense. He's a big dude.
A heck of a lot better than Kimmich.
Neuer shoulda been carded for that tackle in the box.
Way to $hit the bed Belgium!
Ditto Austria.
Austria v Hungary is a pretty large rivalry...doesn't surprise me as much. The amount of talent Belgium has, the game shouldn't have even been close.
Italy may be perennially overrated like England, but they're no slouches.

Hateful.

3 world titles will do that. Actually, Italy is usually underrated.
I'm glad you think Italy really didn't beat Germany in '82.
I have no national team.
Though my mother immigrated from Germany, I refuse to wear anything that says "Die Mannschaft."
I pull for the U.S., but much in the same way you pull for the kids in the Special Olympics...but the U.S. won't get a medal for showing up.
England, once again, $hitting Le Bed.
WTF?!

Well that was exciting.
LOL. Two teams loaded with offensive tallant. Good to see it on display.
BTW, nice win by Northern Ireland.
