That's for your comment, not the current state of the country.
I'm going to the game Sunday. I, for one, am outraged. This will put a serious damper on my pre-game festivities.

Yes, I'm that guy, the one who doesn't give two schitts about civil liberties supposedly being infringed upon. I'm the guy who cares about having one less beer before kickoff, because that means less awesomeness for my fellow Packer fans sitting in my section. I may be too sober to take my shirt off and scream obscenities at Taebow, for god's sake.

The prospect of some free hands on activity down south does help assuage this travesty to some degree, I suppose.
hard to express outrage in the written form I guess.

I was trying to jokingly express the phrase I always hear the nervous nellie PC correct crowd uttering "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN!?!?!?"

but you can take away from it what you will since we're on the internet and I can't smack ya up side the head which I would do if you accused me of such a thing in person. no offense intended.

I was at the Brewer game JJSD. Missed my oppurtunity?

Anyways, people go nuts about "giving up their liberties".... you really have no idea what you are talking about and you are going overboard. It's simple logic given the potential liabiltiy that is there for the NFL. It's not the government mandating this.. it's the NFL covering their backside. There might be some chatter or intelligence that the NFL has obtained from government agencies which we don't know about too. A stadium full of fans seems like a target that an crazy person would conceivably target. Im not for going big brother state crazy about things, but there isnt anything wrong with a little sensibility.

Anyways, back to your cavity searches.

Delay of game irks thousands of fans at Lambeau

NFL security changes slow entry at gate
Thousands of fans craned their necks to watch a formation of Navy jets streaking over Lambeau Field on Sunday.

They knew what the flyover meant: The national anthem was over and the Green Bay Packers-Denver Broncos game was about to begin.

Unfortunately, they were still standing in long lines outside the stadium, waiting to get in.

snip

At 3:30 p.m., 15 minutes after kickoff, hundreds were still outside the stadium. They were not happy.

"I'm furious," said Tom Kasper of Milwaukee. "9-11 wasn't this bad. Not even close. After 9-11 we went to games within a few weeks after that. It was much more organized."continue
...but at least they were safe Roll Eyes
But the simple logic, don't forget the simple logic.

Yes it is all so simply logical.

Now I see. Mine eyes are cleared by the stark raving simple logic.

I feel it already: a safe, comfortable, glowing feeling of complete and total stupidity. Thank you Lord.

No worries, Diggy... I'm always available for you. I really can't think of anyone who would benefit more from a nice fisting. Just let me know when you'll be around, and I'll be ready to roll. I'll bring the radishes and we'll play John Deere to get started.

Miss you.
We got in line at 2:00. It took about 40 minutes to get inside. A lot of people that sit near us, missed the kickoff. They said at the Oneida gate the line was all the way out to Oneida street.
I got in line a little before 2:00, which I figured would be plenty of time, even with the new security measures. To say it was a disorganized clusterfukk would be kind. Lambeau Field employees directed a bunch of us into a line that turned out to lead to basically nowhere (with the throngs ahead of us, there was no way to realize this at the time). We all started cutting into the actual line when we realized what was going on (around 3:05 or so). A lot of pissed off folks, but I told them we were waiting just as long as they were, if not longer.

Like just about everyone else, they completely gave up the wand checking at our gate. I could have sneaked the Little Boy through the gate, and they wouldn't have known.
