That guys sounds like a complete moron. Seriously. This reads like an article some teenager wrote for their school paper -

Second, also from Glier, the Falcons are emphasizing run defense now that James Starks has shown up. This is good practice for several reasons. One, it's telegraphing that we're worried about their running game, but I don't think we are actually that concerned about it. We have been known to give up the big run, but I do expect us to lock their run game down in usual fashion. I think that's a semi-ploy to get people thinking we're overly worried about Starks.

Are these people really stupid enough to believe that makes the slightest sense at all? The Falcons are pretending to prepare for the Packers' running game in order to trick the Packers into thinking they're scared of the Packers' running game? WTF? This guy's a cretin.
Jeez, After reading that article GB should just cancel the flight and drink beer in GB and think about what coulda shoula been! I guess that moron doesn't realize somebody will win and somebody will lose. Every Packer fan expects a close game because GB probably should have won the 1st time.

Every falcon fan that saw the 1st game know's the above is true. Now that game might as well have been last year but it will by no means surprise anyone if Atlanta is watching GB defeat Seattle in the NF Championship game!

Should Atlanta win the game my hats off to em' they will have had to earn it. But if GB plays their game no drops no TO's they win

"Starks could have a big game. We won't know until we find out, but I didn't see anything impressive from him against the Eagles. Granted, I didn't watch the whole game"

Dude didn't watch the game... no wonder he didn't see anything impressive. What a tool. But what else would you expect from a guy named Caleb or his brother Zeke?

Considering the fact that GB has already played a game in ATL this year should be a huge plus for the Pack. Nothing about the so-called home-field advantage should bother us. I'd bet a lot of Packers would rather be in a dome than playing in 10 degree weather.

He is clearly a product of one of Florida's fine collages.

Great sports talk radio down here.

One of the afternoon drive hosts was roll calling our defense and actually said "Kampman".

Gone as a free agent, and on IR for Jacksonville to boot.

After we already played them once this year.

Brilliant.

I remember the guy that morning on the radio: "And in hockey last night, Atlanta defeated the Blackhawks 1-0. Fo shizzle my nizzle."

First time I'd ever heard that. So that's pretty cool.

Huge inferiority complex. This season marks the first time they've had three winning seasons in a row in franchise history. Last season was the first time they've had back-to-back winning seasons.

The fans down here get excited if they're #1 on the weekly ESPN power poll.

I have a lot more respect for their coaching staff, team, and organization than I do for the majority of their fan base.
It is absolutely hilarious to troll those Falcons boards. They make Viking fans look level headed. Half the posts are about getting screwed by the media. Another 1/4 are how awesome the media guys are who pick Atlanta to win and the rest are their "realistic" expectations that Atlanta will win by 17+ points.

One guy said his realistic expectation was 27-10 and his homer pick was 31-13.

Now that the line is all the way down to 1.5 they must be going insane.
Fans in ATL are about as fickle as they get. I can recall a Braves playoff game where Turner Field was maybe 2/3 full. They have trouble selling out Hawks games, and they've been pretty damn good for several years now. Then there's the Falcons.

They had a piece on the local GB news today talking about how quickly the Falcons sold out the playoff game, like it was some big deal. I think this was one of the first years the Georgia Dome home games were sold out?

College football rules in the deep south and always has. If the Bulldogs were better this year nobody would care about the Falcons.

The reality is this- if things go wrong for the Falcons early in this game I could see the Packers running away with this because of all the remaining teams in the playoffs I think the Packers fear the HFA the least in ATL. They (and ATL) know that GB could have very easily beaten them the first time around, but it took a fumble on the 1 yard line, a bad 4th down conversion (that shouldn't have been) and a miracle return at the end of the game to have them come away with the win.
