#Falcons 36-year-old Tony Gonzalez needs 13 catches to become oldest player with 100-catch season (oldest: Jerry Rice, 34)

Jim Schwartz’s contract with Lions still has three years remaining on it after this season and runs through 2015. Schwartz is safe for 2013.

And @mortreport reports it's "a virtual certainty" that Tim Tebow will play in 2013 for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

6 highest Total QBR on 3rd down this yr: Roethlisberger 90.4, Rodgers 84.8, Brady 82.6, Hasselbeck 82.6, Kaepernick 79.4, Ryan 79.0.

(Not sure if that means anything because QBR seems to be the most convoluted stat anyone's ever come up with)
Tebow to Jax is appropriate. At least it would be the best option for him. The other day on Mike and Mike they -- or Jaws -- were saying they don't understand why more teams don't run the spread option that RGIII and Tebow run, that it's the offense of the future. The only thing I can think of good about that is that there must be a whole lot of good running, expendable QBs coming out of college cuz sometime or the other, you'll get your QB killed. I'd prefer to keep the franchise clean and safe, thank you.

Ah yes, the NFLFU! They will probably put red jerseys on the QB just like in training camp. Sometimes I wonder if the suits in the NFL offices don't want a pinball game -- lots of lights, scores, and ding-ding-dings! -- rather than the snot-knocking game (with some safety rules added) it historically was and should be.

What kind of secondary does Detroit have? I'm not able to watch the game, but I see on updates that he's 11-for-11 with two long TDs? Yikes, Detroit isn't good, but who could have predicted they'd be this bad this year?

Detroit is playing man-to-man on the outside and getting roasted by Roddy White.

Wow. Good coaching not to mess up your secondary and change to give the DB some help...
