I miss Randall Cobb...

Patty Melt and Co. should enjoy this weather. Let's hope they arrive Friday to adjust.
Much of this article could apply to both teams.
Somethings gotta give...
Big RB - Lacey or Jackson
Matt2 - Flynn or Ryan
M.I.A. - Julio Jones or Aaron Rodgers
TOG was never a vocal player either.
Sounds to me like there is a lot of internal strife going on.
Beginning to believe that McCarthy has lost this team.
A win w/o Rodgers on Sunday would do a magnificent job of restoring some of their confidence.
Isn't that the way fans talk about winning and losing teams? As soon as there are some losses, we hear "they are quitting" or "there are in house problems."
As soon as the wins come, suddenly all those phrases go away.
Because winning is a cure all.
I know it's Falcons week but this video transcends all team barriers.

What do you all think about Cobb? Back or not this season? Frankly, I'm a bit concerned by his somewhat surly and evasive replies to media questions about his status when asked a week ago. Sure hope he's not football's version of Derrick (wuss) Rose!
Don't know, since we don't know the exact injury. We were told it was a broken fibula, but that has never been confirmed. Cobb's surliness could be one of a couple things: he's ready to go and they won't let him (highly unlikely), or he's hurt worse than we know and he's frustrated by it, or he's just frustrated like everyone else over this team's performance since Rodgers went down. I think I'd hardly be civil if I were in his shoes.
Cobb's surliness and AR's recent surliness may be evidence of the theory that the Packers medical staff takes longer to clear players from injuries than other teams seem to.
Even Franklin seemed surly when saying he did not have a neck injury after being put on IR.
The Packers' skyrocketing games missed by preferred starters stat in the MM era is a combination of the number of injured players and the number of weeks before the injured player is allowed to return.
from things I've read here and there I don't believe Cobb is even running yet so I'm guessing he's done for the year.
When the Cobb injury happened, I was shocked to hear there was a chance he could be back on the field this year.
Dang! I was hoping that one of you guys knew or had heard of something that would qualify as GOOD news!
AJ Hawk will be playing Sunday.
Very funny. Of course, given all the injuries, we might have to put Mason Crosby in at LB if anyone else gets hurt!

Newhouse has regressed this year, I feel sorry for Flynn if he starts at LT. If the Packers start Newhouse at Left Tackle it says the Packers do not yet trust Sherrod. If EDS and Bakthiari do not play would the Packers only have 6 linemen active Sunday?
This game could get ugly.
I don't want to watch Newhouse. Put Lang at LT. Or Sherrod. Or Jarrett Bush. Anybody. I'm done watching Marshall f-ing Newhouse play football.
These tweets are from yesterday from FOX Wisconsin sportswriter Paul Imig:
Aaron Rodgers will not let his status be decided at game time Sunday. "I don’t think that’s fair to Matt (Flynn) if we do that."
Aaron Rodgers added that there will be a decision on his status by Friday, or maybe Saturday at the latest.
Aaron Rodgers said he had to clear three hurdles: strength, range of motion, medical scans. "Two out of three are passed so far." The remaining hurdle for Aaron Rodgers to pass is the medical scan.
So if he passes the 3rd by the end of the week will they play him in your opinion? Yes, if he practices Friday.
Many Packers fans are tweeting about McCarthy's comment that, when asked of Rodgers' scans, "No, we’re not going to continue doing that."
But did McCarthy mean 'we're not going to scan Rodgers anymore,' or did he mean 'I'm not going to continue talking about his scans'?
Clarification on McCarthy's comment on Aaron Rodgers' scans: McCarthy meant that Rodgers won't get repeatedly scanned this week.
So that means he's out then. If he needs clearance & isn't getting more scans, rules this week out, right? Hence the confusion.
The italics posts were questions from fans, all else were comments from Imig.
Who's on 1st?
I expect the Packers to be featured in Life Alert commercials.
I don't know why/how, but Ian Rap gets inside juice on the Pack and has done it the last couple seasons especially RE injuries. His info is usually pretty accurate.
If EDS is out, sounds like Bacteria has the flu, and Sherrod is a total unknown at this point until he starts getting real snaps ...hard to think they would put AR in front of that line.
If GB does manage to somehow beat ATL w/Flynn, Lions lose, and EDS heals well enough to start at Dallas then I could see AR getting cleared @Dallas to play.
But that's a lot of IF's...
