MLB Tonight crew saying the Cards are going to win the NL Central because Yelich is out for the season and Milwaukee probably won't make any moves to improve their roster when the trade deadline comes around. Naysayers for sure, and one is former Brewer Dan Plesac.

I don't disagree, although I don't the think the Cardinals are going to be the ones most likely to catch them.
When Yelich is/was healthy, the Brewers were a solid playoff team, although without a true ace they were no real threat to advance very far in the playoffs.
Unless Adames gets hot, they don't really have a player that can carry them for a stretch of games. Chourio has been outstanding lately and maybe he'll eventually be that type of guy, but it's too much to ask of a 20 year old.
I also don't want them to trade away young talent this year. If you weren't going to do that when you had Burnes and Woodruff as your top 2, then why do it this year?
They could package Weimer with a couple of lower level guys and get a pitcher. It wouldn't hurt that much.

3 straight hits off Civale, Marlins strike first 2-0 top of 2nd. Plenty of time left in this one.
Hoskins just filleted the Marlins finally. A 3 run homer.
Tight game, Crew leads 3-2 bottom of 6th but not doing much, 2 on, 2 outs Can they add to the lead with Hoskins up?

Pegeuro does his normal job. Gives up a single and then a 3 run homer on 3 pitches. 
If the Brewers DFA’d Peguero, I’d be just fine with it.
Turang has been next to worthless of late. Over the last 17 games he’s 8 for 63, a .127 AVG.
We’re now 1-4 against a Marlins team that is 35-65 against the rest of baseball.
Crazy how much the Brewers and Cards are mirroring each other win wins and losses. Has to be maddening for their fans.

Brewers news: Devin Williams activated from the IL
"The Brewers announced before their Sunday afternoon game with the Miami Marlins that they had reinstated the two-time All-Star from the 60-day injured list. They also designated right-hander Janson Junk for assignment and sent right-hander JB Bukauskas to Triple-A Nashville on a rehabilitation assignment."
Hopefully Williams will give a boost to this team's morale.
