I think we was talking about pushing himself too hard in the offseason, which led to getting injured in training camp this year. As in, he got too geared up for training camp and overextended himself when he got there, instead of pacing himself. Hence "training camp is not the Super Bowl."

The reporter leads, Finley goes along with it, and VOILA, juicy quotes that sound like Jermike is saying training camp is not important.
One thing about Finley is out of all the receivers he's easily the most needy. Almost every other one on the team takes their opportunities when they come but if there's one guy close to being upset without getting catches it's Finley. He better figure it out though. It seems like Cobb is headed for a big increase in production. Finley should focus on how many he catches instead of how many he catches.
I sure hope Fin catches everything out of the gates. If he struggles in the first 3-4 games we're gonna be 2011 all over again. If he would just shut up about himself and just talk in general about the Packers and football I think he'd have a much easier time and wouldn't be his own worst enemy. He thinks he can back up all the talk but he's yet to really pull it off, so all the talk just makes it that much harder for him. just - play - the - game. we can talk about it all offseason.
