forget where I copied this from yesterday but Flynn damn well had better won OPW! He's in elite company after just one game this year!

quote:
Flynn completed 31 of 44 passes for 480 yards with six touchdowns and one interception, setting single-game franchise records for passing yards and touchdowns and producing numbers that exceeded anything Rodgers (or Brett Favre or Bart Starr or anyone else) ever produced in a Packers uniform. Only three other players in NFL history have had 475 yards and six touchdowns in a game, and they’re all in the Pro Football Hall of Fame: Y.A. Tittle, Joe Namath and Joe Montana.
With Flynn’s showing coming a week after Rodgers threw for five touchdowns against the Bears, the Packers are the first team ever to have different quarterbacks throw for five touchdowns in back-to-back weeks.
How many drops were there in the Detroit game? I don't think I saw too many, seemed to be fewer than recent games.

I was listening to someone on the radio last night talk about how Tebow's ball gets dropped more often by receivers. Two reasons suggested: he throws a "heavy" ball, and he's left handed.

I've thought about Flynn vs Rogers and the drops. I was reminded again the other night re-watching the Giants game. There were a bunch of drops, I think 3 in one drive alone. But I don't have any statistics to back it up.

Is it possible that one quarterback throws a ball that is easier to catch? Just wondering.
