Obviously one of the biggest symbols of Mike Sherman's drafting ineptitude, but he was still a son, relative, husband to many good people. Thanks to Goalline for the scoop.

It's a shame the headline calls out his football career rather than his positive impact on Humboldt. NorCal Pet did a lot of work to get dogs out of shelters and into homes, the store provided a free dog-wash, they participated in community events...My sincere condolences to Mr. Lee's family. He will be very much mourned and missed!
Ummm, what? Since when does a dead man need help with medical expenses or am I not reading this correctly?
Probably for the medical bills still owed by the family.
There should be absolutely no reason anyone should die of complications from diabetes at age 36. All types are treatments regardless of the type. I am unsure if there were additional circumstances that contributed... Combinations of medications, diet and exercise all can be used effectively treat any of them. Most times the only issue(s) is ignorance or unwillingness to listen to medical advice. That is what is most sad to me
RIP James
