94? Good for him. Wasnβt it rumored that he was a big drinker? Always loved his potty mouth.
Pretty interesting when you think he coached well on both sides of the ball, especially through today's lens of hyper-specialization.
I had no idea about the Lombardi connection.
He was coaching Adderly, Bob Jeter, and Willie Wood? Holy crap!
I honestly never knew he had a GB connection. Even though he coached the Spermheads he was hard to dislike.
