Well Minnesota, we have our own dumbass now.
Former Seattle and Houston RB....
I remember he was accused of beating his girl back in his prime at GB. I lost a lot of respect for him then and if this is true, he never deserved it back.
This will make him more likely to sign with the Vikings.
Or the Saints - which seems a little oximoronic.
Green 15-yr.-old daughter told police her dad punched her in the face after an argument over doing the dishes -- but Green says that's not the whole truth ... this according to the criminal complaint obtained by TMZ Sports. The ex-GB Packers RB was arrested Monday morning after cops responded to his Wisconsin home at 11:26 AM following a 911 call from a neighbor. According to the complaint, Ahman's daughter says the 2 had been arguing all day long about chores -- she did not want to wash the dishes -- and tension mounted between her and Ahman. Things came to a head, according to Green's daughter, when the ex-NFL star grabbed her, threw her to the ground and up against the kitchen cabinets ... before punching her in the face. When cops arrived, officers noticed her left eye was "swollen, slightly black and blue, and had 2 minor scratches." But Ahman tells a different story -- sorta. According to the report, Ahman admits they were arguing, and things got physical. But insists he did not punch her. Instead he says he "slapped her upside the head" -- and her glasses caused the damage to her face. He also admits he pushed her during the argument. Basically, Green's defense is he was physically disciplining his child -- not abusing her. Cops ultimately arrested Ahman -- he's since been charged with felony child abuse and disorderly conduct.
Come on Ahman, everyone knows a roundhouse karate kick is a much more effective form of discipline than a slap/punch.

Great parenting. I do believe him that he didn't punch her, I think a former professional athlete could easily have broken bones in her face if had punched her. He restrained himself and just used an open hand because he's a good dad.
A nice gentle open handed slap to knock her on her ass and to bloody her eye. He did **** up in one way though. Forgot to feed her leaves.

Can't punch out a dishwasher!!!!

He does have a dishwasher, it's his daughter. #Ahman'sSchoolOfParenting
Sounds closer to a confession from Green than a defense. My guess is a plea bargain down to a misdemeanor with parenting/anger management classes as part of the deal.
Not if he has priors. I'm guessing he's well aware **** will get hairy.

Avici called, he wants his logo back.
At least he didn't use a switch or a tree branch, like AP did
And, he didn't hit her in the scrotum.
This is between a dad and his 15 year old daughter.
Exactly
Until the police are involved. Then it's just a stupid thing to say
It still should be left between a dad and his 15 year old daughter
Hmmmmm. So a Dad can do anything he wants to do to his 15 year-old daughter?
Think that one through.

While I DO NOT approve of what Green did, I wonder how many of us over 55 or so could have or should have called the cops in our teenage years. Especially if you were a farm kid. Those Surge milker straps were a great deterrent to misbehaving right Henry.
Schyt.....I tried calling the cops on my old man........but he was cop!

Thanks for bring up that trauma. I think we did more **** to ourselves than our parents ever could've. Pellet gun wars anyone?
I'd think I'd rather have taken a punch to the head if it would've gotten me out of more work. CHILD LABOR LAWS DAD!
I'm sure Jordy is traumatized from having to shove his arm up the ass of a cow
So am I.

Agreed. There is nothing more fatherly than practicing martial arts on your daughter's face. If only he had knocked her teeth out.

He said TRAUMATIZED, not HORNY.

The only ones that know what happened are him and his daughter.
So you don't believe him when he says he slapped her? Good for you.
I believe there was a slap, reports said he punched her. Big difference.
A slap large enough to give her a black eye and one hard enough to knock her off her feet is a VIOLENT act. In a civilized society, you should never be allowed to do that to anyone who isn't threatening your safety, let alone, a child.
Maybe she was threatening his safety by refusing to do the dishes?
Well, unwashed dishes can become infected with salmonella.
