Who thought Colin Rae would have 17 starts and counting? There have been a lot of contributions from players nobody was counting on. Monosterio? Perkins?
I still don't know who those guys are

No way in hell the Reds want him back. Why would they? They already have Votto filling that spot so no need for Stinker Winker.

Which part is untrue? Be honest. I love the Brewers, Packers, Bucks, Badgers. Always have. But sometimes things are what they appear. Mark A is something of a Selig Jr, and the team is doing well in spite of him, but they are not in a position to add salary, as they rarely are. They may get a so so old guy like Cron, but mostly what we see is what we get, and the youngsters will have to develop quickly and the pitching get/stay healthy to have a puncherās chance.
Attanasio never really struck me as a baseball guy or someone committed to keeping baseball in Milwaukee. I view him as a guy that made a bunch of money investing and filling his bucket list with a pro sports team. The team has had success without him losing a dime so it's turned into a fun thing for him. But if this team starts hemorrhaging money he won't be going down with the ship.

Good point, they just traded for a 37 year old first baseman from the Pirates.
The beginning of the end for Winker. He'll go from DL to DFA. At least I hope.

Never said it wasn't true, but gloom and doom from a first place team is the Wisconsin way. I understand it well. As I get older and dummer, I tend to enjoy the journey more, especially when I didn't expect a chance in hell of a playoff team from this bunch.
I expect all the teams I like to be a playoff team every year. But as the season winds down and they are still in the mix it gets even more exciting. I really enjoy seeing young guys step up and do the job. And that is why you have to be excited about this and next years Brewers and also the Packers.
