Former Bills tackle Demetrius Bell is the No. 2-rated unrestricted free agent left unsigned on the PFT Hot 100. He’s a 28-year-old, starting-caliber left tackle who’s been unlucky when it comes to avoiding the injury bug.

But Packers G.M. Ted Thompson knows a potential bargain when he sees one, and Bell fits the bill. Per Joe Buscaglia of WGR 550 in Buffalo, Bell will be visiting Green Bay later this week. continue

I am not surprised that Ted is in the free agent market. He is a bargin hunter and with a flat cap and a recorded number of free agents thier has to be a lot of bargins around. I wonder how many Free agents he wants to sign, he does have at leat 11 draft picks now.

Hey, if he's against me, I'm against him. Sort of like spicy mexican food.
I hope they don't have serious interest in him. He was not very impressive in Buffalo...pushed into the left tackle position when Jason Peters was traded to Philly after a contract dispute. They let Bell walk with no obvious replacement on board.

Unlike Marvin Lewis (who refused to discuss Manny Lawson), Bills coach Chan Gailey was more open about OT Demetrius Bell, who reportedly will visit #Packers.
...
Gailey: "He’s got some talent, he’s got good feet. He’s battled injury, but he’s a good man, and he’s got talent." Bills still interested.
from wiki...

Although Malone was 20 years old at the time that the 13-year old Gloria Bell was impregnated, she said that her family chose not to pursue criminal charges against Malone over the relationship. According to Bell, with Malone being a neighbor — Summerfield's population is only a few hundred — her family did not wish to see him jailed, especially since he would then be unable to provide any support for Demetrius at all.

it look like the answer to your question is yes.

Then again Ted is looking for a value free agent. If Ted interest drives the cost up of getting a Left Tackle for the eagles it is all good.
Unlike Wolf Ted is piling up a quite a few players that can play tackle.
All I know is I'm pumped. The star aligned to allow us to have enough tire puns to balance out all the negativity. I bet kworst would rotating in his grave if he weren't still on the road. I am just giddy, I'm bouncing off the side walls. I remember when I was young, I used to listen to Abbot and Costello on the radial and they made puns like this all the time...this is like an awesome retread of that, better than complaining about who TT didn't sign...those threads blow.
The ply of this tread seems to be separating us. Over inflated egos have always caused excessive wear for those of us who chose to stay in the middle of the road. Spare us the need to replace those worn character flaws before we spin out of control. Life doesn't have to be Black or White.

BTW, does anyone else enjoy Uncle Ted's dry ROTTT?
