Still, Ryan raved earlier this month about how quickly the freshmen were  picking things up, calling it “probably one of the brightest groups of freshmen  collectively that we’ve had. Very astute, very perceptive, hungry, and they’re  grasping a lot of things.”

The class represents an interesting group of players from different  backgrounds. Hayes and Vitto Brown (Bowling Green) are from Ohio; Moesch and  Koenig are from Wisconsin; guard Riley Dearring is from Minnetonka, Minn.; and  guard Jordan Hill is from Pasadena, Calif., but played last season at an  academically prestigious prep school in New Hampshire.

Badgers will be pretty young this season with Brust and Bohannon as the only Seniors.

Interesting note on Keonig, his cousin is Vinnie Rottino who played for the Brewers.  You can see a bio of all the guys plus the coaches here:

And Ethan Happ looks the part too- he's their line recruit this year. Another versatile 6'9" forward who can play in/out.

But like we talked about in the Bo Ryan thread, it's the Gs that make it go. Keep brining in the G with these versatile Fs and you have something sustainable.

It'll be interesting to see what Showalter brings. 6'2", but really athletic and tenacious defensively. If he picked up some offensive skills in his Refdhirt season, he will play. Maybe as a defensive stopper.
